The Capstone Story
Our journey of nurturing young minds
Our History
Originally named Children's World, The Capstone School is an independent Christian school, situated in the beautiful suburb of Walmer, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
Established in 1997, the school developed a strong reputation for the excellence of its programmes and the character of its school community.
In response to ongoing requests from parents and the community, the governing body elected to position the school, re-named The Capstone School, as a provider of both pre-primary and primary education. Primary education began in 2016.

Our Campus
The school occupies two stately properties, sheltered between giant fig trees and beautiful gardens in the upper avenues of Walmer.
With abundant trees, open spaces, guinea fowls, and monkeys, we offer a different, peaceful teaching-learning environment where pupils can grow their own gardens and learn through the natural environment.
